Instructions
Whisk together cornstarch and water in a small bowl to create a slurry. Set aside.
In a skillet or sauce pan, add the remaining ingredients. Bring to a boil, then add the cornstarch slurry and whisk to prevent lumps.
Boil until it thickens, about 2-3 minutes or so. Remove from heat.
Add 2-3 drops of food coloring, if desired.
